Announcement - Working on a New Project "Warumono (warai) series"

As there are quite some CDs by Frontier Works that I like, I felt like translating one of their series.

I am working on their Warumono (warai) series (わるもの（笑）シリーズ）, which I dubbed "Bad guys (lol) series", consisting of two CDs:
1) Wataru Seken wa Oni Darake　（渡る世間は鬼だらけ） released October 22, 2011
2) Ookami wa Tsurai yo 　（狼はつらいよ） released October 26, 2011

The series takes three well known stories with a common "bad guy" and retells them in a completely different, and generally quite humorous, way.

The first CD tells three stories where the bad guy is an Oni, a Japanese Ogre like creature.
- Momotarou
- Issun Boushi
- Original story with hint to Kobutori Ojiisan

The voice actors for the this CD are:
- Fujiwara Keiji (藤原啓治)
- Okiayu Ryoutarou (置鮎龍太郎)
- Konishi Katsuyuki (小西克幸)
- Sakurai Takahiro (櫻井孝宏)


The second CD tells three stories about the big bad wolf.
- Little Red Riding Hood
- The Wolf and the Seven Young Kids
- The Three Little Pigs

The voice actors for the this CD are:
- Shimono Hiro (下野紘)
- Yoshino Hiroyuki (吉野裕行)
- Yasumoto Hiroki (安元洋貴)
- Yasumura Makoto (保村真)

A Happy New Year to one and all!

Over the past year, my main blog has been receiving a few more hits. Thank you!
I'm still updating my LiveJournal, and I'm still in the process of moving the translations I am completely happy with to this blog.

Also, as a New Year's resolution, I decided to start a daily project, which is where this journal comes in.

So, what's this new project?


It's the translation of a drama CD series; "Voice Calendar, Story of 365 Days"

I will upload the mp3 belonging to the translation as a link in the title inside the post. It is only for promotional/sampling purposes and will be up for 30 days only, after which I'll take the link to the mp3 down.

I'll be translating a little more freely with this series than I normally do with lyrics. feedback will be much appreciated~
