Note:

• On this day in 1911 the first offical ski lessons were being taught in Japan by the Austrian  Theodor Edler von Lerch.
• There is a (somewhat weak) wordplay going on in the dialogue as 'sukii’ (スキー -“ski”) sounds a lot like 'suki’ (好き -“I like you”) in Japanese. That's why they keep repeating the word...
