Note:
- On this day, in 1946, the high quality cigarette brand "Peace" was first sold. Back in the days, normal cigarettes solg for 4 yen per package of 10, but Peace was 7 yen. Also, it was limited to one package per customer, only to be sold on Sundays and holidays. Still, there were reports of the stock of 1000 packages being sold out within an hour in a shop in Tokyo.
